Attendance Notification for Parents/Carers

Dear Parents and Carers,

We hope you and your family have had an enjoyable summer break.

We are writing to inform you of a change to the school day which comes into effect from the start of this academic year.

New School Day Timings

  • Monday to Thursday: 8:30am – 3:00pm
  • Friday: 8:30am – 1:10pm

An email containing this information was scheduled to be sent via Parent Mail before the summer holiday. Unfortunately, due to a technical issue with the system, the message was not successfully delivered. We sincerely apologise for this oversight and any inconvenience or confusion this may have caused.

Please ensure that your child arrives at school in good time each day to be ready for registration and the start of lessons at 8:30am.

On Fridays, although students finish earlier at 1:10pm, a lunch will still be provided at 12:40pm before students leave for the weekend. Please take this into account when making transport or collection arrangements.

For those on bespoke timetables, arrangements will continue as discussed, please contact the school if you have any questions regarding this.

The revised timetable has been implemented to support students’ learning, wellbeing and the effective delivery of the curriculum across the school week.

If you have any questions regarding the change to the school day or require any support with transport or collection arrangements, please do not hesitate to contact the school office.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support. We look forward to welcoming students back and working together for a successful academic year.

Kind regards,

Andrew Hatherley

Headteacher
