School Organisation

We currently have 5 tutor groups at our Newport site and 6 at our Cowes site. In addition we have an online learning offer and also tutors who may visit students who are unable to come in to school.

Newport

This provision provides tailored support for students at risk of exclusion, helping them re-engage and thrive in their education.

3a and 3c are mostly year 7-9 students

4a is mostly year 10

4c and 4d are mostly year 11.

There are occasions when students will be taught in mixed year groups.

Cowes

This is our section 19 provision for students who because of exclusion, illness or other reasons, would not receive suitable education without such provision.

LHA is mostly year 7 and 8 students

LHB is mostly year 9 students

LHC is mostly year 10

LHD is year 10

LHE is year 11

LHF is year 11

A small number of students attend the main school in the afternoon, depending on their needs.
